This past October, Le Châtelard parents gathered in Cancún, Q. Roo, Mexico, for a meaningful weekend of connection, reflection, and personal growth.
The event began with a warm welcome from Federica Páez, the academy’s director, who joined the families to kick off the weekend.
The event featured engaging workshops designed to enhance relationships and provide practical tools for family life. Couples explored ways to deepen their marriages, fostering greater love, understanding, and mutual support. Parents also received valuable strategies for raising their children and confidently navigating today’s fast-paced world.
Guided by the inspiring Fr. Guillermo Serra, L.C., and Ana Patricia Fajer, a specialist in adolescence and sexuality, the weekend addressed real-life challenges. Ms. Fajer’s session, “How to connect with your teenage daughter,” offered actionable advice for fostering stronger relationships with teenagers and understanding their needs.
A highlight of the weekend was the visit to the Sanctuary of Mary, Undoer of Knots, a tranquil and spiritually significant location. Parents found time to reflect, place their intentions, and renew their vows in a heartfelt ceremony, deepening their connection as individuals, couples, and families.
The weekend celebrated shared values, the strength of community, and the importance of Growing Together!—not just as individual families but as a close-knit group of support. Through meaningful workshops and activities, parents formed bonds that extended beyond their daughters’ experiences, building lasting friendships and a strong sense of unity.
