At OAK International Academies, we are committed to nurturing every aspect of our students’ growth—intellectual, human, spiritual, and apostolic—ensuring a well-rounded development in all areas of their lives. Recently, our students had the opportunity to participate in a transformative workshop focused on helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities of adolescence.

Led by Ana Patricia Fájer, a trusted professional with years of experience guiding students and families—and who recently led the Couples Gathering in Cancun—the workshop offered a safe and welcoming space for the girls to explore essential topics.

With a focus on self-esteem, healthy relationships, personal values, and balancing real-life experiences with the digital world, the sessions provided valuable tools and insights to help the students approach this stage of life with confidence and clarity.

Throughout the workshop, the importance of building a strong sense of self-worth, fostering positive friendships, and understanding the challenges of growing up were highlighted. These conversations created opportunities for the students to reflect on who they are, the choices they make, and the values that guide them—empowering them to thrive with resilience and purpose.

This initiative also highlighted the invaluable role that parents play in supporting their daughters’ journeys. As lifelong mentors and guides, parents can build trust and foster open communication, creating a supportive bond where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, asking questions, and feeling understood as they grow.

Beyond the group sessions, the students enjoyed time outdoors, providing a perfect ambiance for reflection and connection with one another.
