Le Châtelard students recently embarked on an inspiring visit to the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, stepping into one of the most influential institutions shaping our world.

This experience offered them a unique opportunity to explore the place where global challenges are addressed, leadership takes shape, and international cooperation unfolds. As part of our integral formation, we foster a global mindset that combines knowledge, values, and real-world experiences to shape future leaders.

One of the highlights of the visit was the XIX Hall, a modern and prestigious conference room within the Palais des Nations. A space where nations gather to address global challenges, it has hosted key discussions on peace, security, human rights, and sustainable development. Designed for high-level negotiations, its innovative setting symbolizes dialogue and collaboration—values that come to life as the floor is given to the next generation of leaders, our students, who are preparing to make their own impact on the world.

Connecting with global diplomacy, the girls observed the screens, communication tools, and resources used during high-level negotiations, gaining a firsthand look at how the United Nations facilitates global dialogue and decision-making.

At Oak and Le Châtelard, we believe that education is more than just academics—it is about shaping young women into leaders with purpose, vision, and a sense of responsibility for the world around them.

Experiences like the UN visit allow students to step beyond theory, engaging themselves in real-world learning. By walking through the halls where diplomacy unfolds, they gain valuable knowledge, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of their role in shaping the world’s future.

This experience also sparks inspiration, offering a glimpse into the paths they could take.

From Geneva’s halls to their own personal growth journey, the girls of Le Châtelard are embracing global challenges with curiosity, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference—one experience at a time.

AYE for learning, AYE for shaping a better tomorrow!
