I hope this letter finds you well. It is with great pleasure that we announce the directors for the upcoming academic year at Oak International Academies in Dublin, Ireland. The individuals selected for these key roles are dedicated professionals committed to fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and a supportive learning environment for our students.
1. Executive Director of Oak International Academies in Dublin:
I am excited to introduce Cecilia Azcunaga, our Executive Director, whose visionary leadership, and wealth of experience, from over 8 years directing Woodlands Academy, will guide both Oak International Academies to new heights. As the Executive Director, Ms. Azcunaga will oversee and coordinate the overall operations of the academies, ensuring alignment with our mission and commitment to educational excellence.
2. Director of Woodlands Academy:
We are proud to welcome Gelly Aguilar as the Director of the Girls’ Program at Woodlands Academy. Ms. Aguilar brings a wealth of experience and expertise in creating an inclusive and empowering educational experience for young women. She will oversee the girls´ integral formation and personal development, ensuring a supportive and enriching learning environment.
3. Director of Dublin Oak Academy:
I am delighted to introduce Ramón Nachón, an accomplished professional whose diverse background in administrative management, law, and education uniquely positions him as an ideal candidate for the director position at Dublin Oak. With experience as an Administrative Officer and Corporate Lawyer, he displays exceptional coaching, negotiation, and organizational skills. Currently serving as the Assistant Director at Oaklawn Academy, he oversees the daily operations of a boarding school, excelling in student discipline, formation systems, and family communication.
As part of the formation team at Dublin Oak Academy we will have Fr. Thomas White, LC, as Pastoral Coordinator, and Fr. Joseph Gillespie, LC, as chaplain. Both have experience in working with adolescents at Oak International academies. At Woodlands, Fr. Barry O´Toole, LC, will continue his apostolate there as chaplain for the girls.
